ŽNK Maribor is a Slovenian women's football team from Maribor competing in the Slovenian Women's League.[1]
Founded in 2005, Maribor began competing in top flight in the 2006-07 season. The team ranked last and second to last in the first two seasons, but was 3rd in 2009. In the next two seasons it ended in the 6th spot.[2] Nina Kovačič (2007), Monika Žunkovič (2008, 2011) and Urška Pavlec (2009, 2010) have been the team's top scorers in its first five seasons.[3]
